Late Check-Out and Extensions

Whether your travel plans changed or something else came up, please check with us on availability before choosing to extend your stay. Due to scheduling with our other guests, our cleaning staff, and coordinating with maintenance crews, extending your stay may not be an option. Please check with your host on availability and other options.

Check Out Procedure

Check out is no later than 11:00AM. Please pile used linens in the center of the beds (no need to make them). We ask that you also pile used towels in the shower, wash any dirty dishes, and return all furniture to the place it was when you arrived. Please close all windows and doors, however, leave the doors unlocked with your keys on the table.

We have deposit receptacles for cans and plastic bottles located behind the Oak Cottage. Trash can be taken out to the blue trash cans or dumpster.

Smoking

All of our cottages are no-smoking. This includes any tobacco use, vaping, etc. We ask that if you do smoke outside, that no smoking debris be left on the property to maintain a cleanly environment.

Good Neighboring

These cottages are snuggled close together and share lake frontage and beach access. Please also note that we are located close to full-time residences of Thayer Lake. Our property lines are marked, and we ask that guests respect those boundaries as a courtesy to our neighbors.

Many of our guests enjoy the quiet solitude that our cottages provide, so we ask that noise be kept at a reasonable level at all times. Quiet hours are 9PM-9AM. If you'd like to invite additional visitors, please get approval with your hosts ahead of time. Absolutely no large groups or parties.

Pets

Our only pet-friendly cottage is the Pine. If you booked the Pine Cottage and plan on bringing a pet, please get approval with your host ahead of time. Please note that there is an additional $50 pet fee.

Guests are also responsible for cleaning up their pets waste and disposing of it appropriately.

No pets are allowed in any of our other cottages at any time.

Firepits

There is one firepit for each cottage. After use, please extinguish any remaining fire, and never leave a fire unattended.
